first - the “other stuff.” I was at work yesterday, and our Fedex lady came in & was like “is it your birthday or your anniversary?” I was like, “um, no.” lol she’s like “oh, well i have flowers for you!” Joe - just because, or rather “because he hadn’t sent me flowers in a while” and because he wanted to make my work day a little happier, sent me roses! at work! and they’re pretty! 
I’d show you a picture, but in my rush to get out the door & not forget the important stuff (keys, bus pass, money), left the apt without my camera. The flowers are still at the office because Teresa & I ended up going shopping, and I didn’t want them to die, die, die in the car. I hope they survive the office - we gave them tons of water before I left. That, and they didn’t come with a vase, so I had to jack one from the half of the office that is no longer in use, and it’s the only one there… so I need to keep it there on the off chance that I get flowers again. or someone else gets flowers

as for being all shopped out - we had a day today. work, then shopping.
i had to return the outfit i bought on oldnavy.com a few weeks ago because the shirt was too small & the skirt was not what i ordered. I ended up looking around - finding a bunch of things to try on, but not having anything that really jumped out at me. I ended up getting a khaki/cream colored corduroy skirt, though (because teresa really liked the brown one - and if she ended up getting it, taht way we wouldn’t be twinkies at work. we already have one pair of pants the same & somehow have always managed to wear them the same day. LOL), and I can wear that with just about anything.
after that, we went to the disney store to get gabby a barbie… “i’m getting a barbie, manda! barbie!” eheh cuteness! she ended up picking out a Sleeping Beauty princess barbie. then we ate, and then we went to lane bryant.
i bought out the store.
actually - not really. the thing i absolutely LOVELOVELOVEd the most didn’t fit. and i didn’t like it enough to spend $60 on it. i didn’t like the duster (it was pink. and oh so pretty. EEEK!!! It’s on sale!!!) i picked out enough to spend $60 on it either. 
but i did buy a ton of other stuff - new underthings, cuz, well, i needed to. then i bought a tweedy looking skirt that’s really pretty (brown w/ turquoise flecks), a cranberry colored cami, brown crops w/ like, cream colored dotted lines (they kinda look pinstripey from far away), this cardigan, and a brown like, cross-over kinda shirt, a 3-eyehole sweater thing, and umm.. i think that’s it.
