I’ve been doing laundry since 8am… I went down about half an hour ago to get my last two loads out of the dryer, and one of the dryers I was using was .. in use. It should have been finished, because the one next to it was done, and I started that one afterwards. I opened it & found someone else’s clothes in the dryer, with one of my socks. Okay, weird. I used that dryer earlier, too, and maybe I just left a sock in it.

So I take my clothes out of the second dryer and come back to the apartment. I’m 99% sure that I used 2 dryers for the last time. I just went down to check all the dryers to make sure my stuff was still there (I discovered I was missing a pink towel I like to use when I get out of the shower + a couple of shirts I KNOW I washed). My clothes were there, but shoved in another dryer with the door shut.

What the fuck?
Who just grabs someone else’s clothes & shoves them into another dryer so they can use the top dyer?? It takes less time to just throw your stuff in the bottom dryer. I know who the guy was too, because he was in there when I went this time AND the last time. I know it was him. What a jerk.

I’d never touch anybody else’s clothes… what gives them the right to touch mine?? I mean, if the other four dryers were in use and they needed a dryer, I guess I can understand that SORT OF, but MY stuff was the only stuff in the laundry room, so he purposely moved my crap so he didn’t have to bend down, which is STUPID because he had to to SHOVE MY STUFF in the bottom dryer!!!!!!!

Ugh. I’m thankful I’ve had very good luck with the laundry rooms in my complex. I know others have many horror stories, but seriously. Show some respect, even if the stuff isn’t yours, y’know?? Grr.

Jeez.. Sounds like dorm laundry rooms! I can remember having to shift someone’s soaking wet laundry load out of a washer so I could use it. But in that case all the other washers were in use and the laundry had obviously been sitting in there for hours. Your guy had no excuse!

I don’t trust any of my neighbors, so I always stay in there and babysit my laundry (knitting time!). In fact, there isn’t a chair in there, so I even bought a folding lawn chair especially for the purpose and cart it back and forth every laundry day. Fun. :-/
