hello, lovely

I had a lot of things happen this weekend, and I haven’t posted about a single one of them!

Friday: The Group Christmas Party, now w/ 50% more Dina! Teresa and I were almost late to her own party, but thankfully our friends live in their own timezone, and everyone else was later than we were. heheh Much fun was had.. Dina ended up calling me when Erik showed up, and we played Pass the Dina. I think everyone got to talk to her. So that’s awesome. We ate, we talked, we watched the kids. Lizzy and I became best pals. I think she’s in love with me. Around… hell, I don’t know when, but it was late, we did the present exchange. I? Am going to start wrapping a ball of my own yarn and bringing it to these things because I don’t have to worry about it leaving my hands permanently. I swear, I always end up wiht my own gift. I picked one package that Dennis ended up stealing (brat!), so I picked another one which ended up being shot glasses and flavored salts or something like thaT? I don’t know .. I didn’t get it long enough. *lol* Teresa’s mom ended up stealing that from me, and I didn’t want to steal from anyone else, and my pkg was the only present left… so I grabbed it, and opened it. And because I kept the receipt, I took it back to Target. *lol* Alex was gonig to steal it from me, and i’m like NO WAY. I’m not getting stolen from THREE TIMES. lol

So a note to all of you - next time we do a White Elephant party, I’m buying myself some sock yarn, and I”m keeping it.

I think Jenny, Dennis and I were the only ones left until about 12:45 or 1. Jenny and I walked out together, and Dennis was talking to Teresa and Alex at his car when I drove by. Fun was had by all.

Saturday: NOthing too exciting. I slept, but not slept in. I had to go to the post office and take care of a bunch of stuff. Mom ended up calling and asking if I had any plans. I told her I had to mail my grandparents’ presents, and she’s like ME TOO!! Wanna mail them at the post office right here? *rofl* So I picked her and Megan up and we mailed our packages and then we went to lunch. I was exhausted, so I basically dropped them off and went home. I had a package that had customs stuff since it was going to Canada, and I forgot Katy’s present the first time around, so I ran home and packaged all that stuff up and ran to the post office right here and got done before they closed and before the big “OMG THE P.O IS CLOSING FOR THE DAY!!!” line started. Good timing on my part.

After that, I came home and sat and knitted before I had to get ready for my plans that evening. I started getting ready so I could go pick Megan up (again) and realized I had NO clothes to wear. They were either dirty or didn’t fit, so I picked her up and we ran to Lane Bryant so I could get a shirt. *lol* I ended up getting two. Then we went to CHili’s for dinner, ran to the bank, stopped by my apt so we could change then went to Rockhouse Live! so we could go to Miser’s 1st Birthday!! It? Was AWESOME!! Sunday, I didn’t do much of anything. I took Megan back home early afternoon and we stopped for lunch. I watched Justin Timberlake on SNL {he is freaking HILARIOUS. I think he needs to be on every week. And if that music thing doesn’t work out? he should totally audition to be cast on the show. :D} and then we watched Accepted, and I stayed for dinner. BBQ Chicken! yummy After that, I came home and knitted a bit.

Monday: Work!

Tuesday: WORKx2!! I had to cover Tc’s desk AND do my normal work. It wasn’t so bad after “lunch” [I say "lunch" because I didn't actually TAKE a lunch. LOL], but man. Trying to go back and forth with her and her AE and her brokers was almost a nightmare. PLUS my boss was in the office and having me doing stuff and it was just insane. *lol* I ended up running errands today after work… I went to Target to return my gift from Friday (lol) and to JoAnn’s to return some beads and crap and ended up with $33.

I got a bunch of yarn in that I’d ordered… [Etsy is evil.] One of the packages came with presents! I need to take pictures. It’s all pretty. I took it to work to show Teresa, and she wasn’t there! (I hope Gabby’s doing better!)

Now? I’m going to sit down w/ my Netflix stuff (Boston Legal, Season 2, Disc 1) so I can watch it and return it and get another movie before the weekend! and try to finish Christmas presents. Most of my cards went out today. I still have a few to finish up, and then I’m done. I hope they get out on time. *lol*
