hello, lovely

my head hurts. i just took some excedrin. too bad it’s not instantaneous.

i mailed off a bday present to pieness because today’s her birthday, and i’m nothing if not punctual. (happy birthday, mellypie!!)

then i went to staples and bought printer ink and paper. they were all about the same price i’d pay at target, so what the hell. i’m very proud of myself for not buying 7000 pens, but i actually didn’t see anything that jumped out and screamed “TAKE ME HOME W/ YOU!” except the 29-pack of extra-fine sharpies, but i didn’t feel like spending another $20, so i didn’t get them. besides, with all the sharpies i have at work, i probably have that set. i ♥ sharpies.

i haven’t been doing much of anything else. i’m kind of hungry, but i don’t really have any food that doesn’t require cooking, and that requires washing some pots, and i just don’t feel like it. i really don’t want pizza, so i may venture out into the cold dark night to get something. i ate a really late lunch so i was hoping that i wouldn’t want/need anything, but i guess that’s not the case. i’m thinking i may need to go to wendy’s or something like that. i’m in an “i don’t know what i want!” mood, and when i go to the store like that, i always walk around the store for an hour, and end up coming home with a bunch of crap i don’t need (cookies, chips, ice cream, pie… lol), and usually still don’t end up with anything that could be considered “dinner”.

i did get to the next color change on joe’s afghan, which is reason enough to celebrate. i need to have a party when i finish the thing. *lol*

back to my netflix dvds.
