Dear Lovelies,
I desperately need your help. I’m in search of the perfect shampoo. Okay, honestly, I know it doesn’t really exist, but I need something better than the Sunsilk shampoo I’m using now.
I ran out of the Herbal Essences shampoo I was using, and I generally like to change it up every time or two that I have to buy shampoo. I’ve used the HE the last two or three times I’ve had to buy the shampoo, and it was time for a change.
I’ve seen all the commercials on TV and decided to give it a try because a) I needed shampoo and b) it’s new, and I like to try new stuff. But this? This stuff is annoying. I’m generally an every-other-day hairwasher, but since I got the new stuff, I’ve been washing every day, and my hair looks shiny (in a bad, greasy way), even on the day of first washing.
If all else fails, I will go back to my Old Standby of Pantene, but I wanted to get your suggestions.
My hair doesn’t really have anything special about it. My hair can get a little poofy/frizzy, and it’s definitely on the oily side, but other than that, it’s just….. hair. No color, no perms, no curls, no crazy stuff.
Thanks in advance…
Love & soft, shiny (in a good way) hair,
Manda

I think I have tried just about every brand of shampoo out there and have found nothing I am absolutely in love with for my hair other than the Pantene.
Since my hair is naturally curly (i.e. curly when wet turns into “I look like I have been attacked by a pick and some AquaNet” when dry) and is a little oily naturally, I use the Pantene Pro-V 2 in 1 Sheer Volume. I have found it leaves my hair soft and non frizzy while giving it a minor lift to hang out where I want it too.

Manda… omg. You are giving me a thousand heart attacks in a row. This is possibly the worst post I have ever read. First of all. Never… i repeat NEVER use Pantene. It is possibly the wrost shampoo and conditioner for your hair. It deposits wax on your hair( which is why it feels so good) but it is bad. the WORST. I cannot reiterrate enough. Ok… then, if i am going to talk to you about shampoo i will tell you first off that I do not promote grocery store brand shampoos. If I will splurge on anything it is my hair products. anything at the grocery store is bad. especially shampoo and conditioner that you use every day. What are you looking for in a shampoo? meaning, what would you like it to do for your hair? I am a hair product geek. I guess it comes with the territory of working in hair salons since I could recieve a workers permit.

I posted about my new shampoo and conditioner not too long ago on my site. I found a miracle worker! It’s the Infusion 23 “Moisurologie” line. I can’t believe the wonders it does on my hair!!! I HIGHLY recommend them!
