So, yesterday we decided to take a trip up to Clear Lake for a little family gathering (it was someone’s birthday).

We hung out at Joe’s parents’ for a while before heading over to his uncles lake house where we met up with everyone else and just hung out. Joe’s cousin took us for a boat ride around the lake, and we got to see some houses other lake houses, and it’s rumored that Sean Penn owns a house up there. Pretty cool. We didn’t see him, though. lol On our way to the other, nicer side of the lake, this speedboat came up really fast behind us and somewhat close to us… and we were all like “woohoo!” because … it was another guy in a boat … that was going really fast. Except that we all got a bit of a “treat”, depending on your point of view. LOL They flew past us, and the chick in the boat was topless and shaking her boobies at us. LOL. It was definitely a topic of discussion back at the house, and we joked that it was Joe’s cousin’s birthday present. lol.

We hung out, ate some barbecued ribs and chicken (decent, but not like back home! hehe) and some other stuff, and then Joe and I booked it out of there so we could get back at a reasonably decent hour.

I had fun, and it was nice being around a lake again. I miss the water.
