Day 1: The Chronic-what?-cles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Day 2: I finished half a pair of socks

Day 3: Lunch Break with a sammich from Safeway and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. In this picture, I had about half the book to go. Now? Only about 30 pages. I am so BUMMED that I have to wait until August for the next one. I thought it came out this month.

Okay, one thing that is a bit of a change around here is the weather. The weather here, for the most part, rocks pretty hard. It’s not too cold or too hot; it’s generally just perfect. I still tend to walk around with my hoodie, and we’ve had a few days of waking up to temps in the 30s, but nothing major.

Apparently there’s a major storm system blowing in that will be here wreaking havoc tomorrow, and all I can think is “OH MY GOD. IT’S RAIN!!” It’s not even like, severe thunderstorm-oh-my-god-lightning-will-strike-you-down-and-you’re-going-to-die storms. It’s just RAIN. 2-5″ of RAIN. How is this the end of the world?!?! It is supposed to be pretty windy, but I guess I’ll find out what End of the World Weather is to the Bay Area tomorrow.

Tonight’s rain wasn’t enough to keep the knitters away, and I got to hang out w/ my knitting group tonight.

In other news – Joe isn’t feeling well, so please send him Get Well vibes.

In other other news – I’ve written down a few more list items for my 101 in 1001. I just need to update the list, but that probably won’t happen until tomorrow.

Well, after reading on blogs about starting the 101 in 1001 project, I decided on New Year’s Eve that I have to participate in it.

My start date was actually yesterday, and I started by writing down some list items in a blank journal. I originally picked up the journal to write about my trip to CA from TX, but we did it so lightning fast (well, as lightning fast as you can do it in a 16′ Penske truck carrying all of your worldly possessions), that I never got a chance to write any of it.

My list is short so far because we spent yesterday cleaning and hanging out w/ Joe’s best friend, but if you’ll notice list item #1… well, we’ll see how it goes. eheh
