I have NO idea when it originally aired, but considering Dina and Adam were making googly eyes at each other the other night, I had to post it.
BTW, Dina… “Infatuation” came on while I was listening to M5 on shuffle on one of my breaks and that song is SO ABOUT YOU!! Only written before he MET you!! hahaah
Okay, so I didn’t watch American Idol religiously this season… sometimes we’d happen to catch it while waiting for Hell’s Kitchen to come on, and sometimes, when we didn’t have Netflix, we’d watch it on Wednesday nights, but I wasn’t really attached to anybody. I liked Jason Castro, and I liked David Cook.
WOOHoO!! Congrats to David Cook, the new American Idol!!! I hope he’s insanely famous and comes out with an awesome cd, because I think I’d like a cd he did better than any of the other contestants. I also like how he made all of his fellow contestants come hang out with him while he sang.
Way to go, David C!!

Ummm, I had something else to say but I forgot what it was.
San Jose just kicked Calgary’s ass in Game 7 of the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. What does this mean? That San Jose is playing Dallas in Round 2, and I’ll actually get to see my boys play some hockey on tv (since I won’t be lucky enough to score tickets. LOL)!!!!
This also means that the Red Wings are playing the Avs. I wonder how many times we’ll all be grounded during that series. *lol*
Okay, so I don’t usually watch the Jimmy Kimmel show because the late night shows actually come on late at night here, and I’m sleeping by then, but a month or so ago, I saw the following video on Perez Hilton (which I now read religiously thanks to Teresa! lol):
Well, apparently, Jimmy had a rebuttal last night on his Oscar after-show. It’s pretty f*cking funny. And Dina, you totally have to watch the whole thing the whole way through. One of your Celebrity Boyfriends is in it. hee hee.
I finished reading my first book of 2008… Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts, which is the first installment of the Sign of Seven trilogy. Leave it to Nora to get me in a book-reading mood again. I still need to finish Creation In Death by JD Robb/Nora Roberts because the next one comes out in a couple of weeks. James Patterson’s newest book in the Women’s Murder Club series comes out on Monday or Tuesday as well. Can’t. Wait.
Anyway, the book was a pretty good book. I’m a fan of her trilogies, even if they are completely predictable in a sense. It was scary and romantic and full of fantasy, and I wish I didn’t have to wait until MAY for the next one.

Also, I love that living on the West Coast means that the Super Bowl starts at a decent time, so even if it takes forever, we won’t be up all night watching football. And the House episode that’s on after the game should be on at a reasonable time, even if the game does take forever. I don’t care who wins, though. Both scenarios kind of give me warm fuzzies…. Undefeated team of the year kicks ass and remains undefeated or the Underdog kicks the Undefeated team’s ass and looks like heros. I have to say, the Patriots looked a little bit like bullies when they came out onto the field. lol.
Oh well, I’m going to knit and wait for the commercials to come on.
Thursday night is a big tv night as far as I’m concerned. Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI.
Back when I lived by myself and didn’t have to worry about another person, I recorded Grey’s while I watched CSI, and I had no conflicts with Ugly Betty.
WHAT DO I DO?
I don’t think I can record one and watch the other. CSI was on On Demand the next day or whatever, last season, but I don’t know if it will be the same this season. Alternatively, you could watch Grey’s Anatomy online the next day or on tv the next night last season.
WHAT DO I DO?
I have seven seasons invested in CSI (albeit the first five seasons were watched in a few weeks on DVD.. lol), but … dude! it’s Grey’s!
HOW DID I GET SUCKED INTO THE BACHELOR?
Oh yeah, because I was watching Dancing with the Stars.
Boston Legal premiers tomorrow and I. CAN’T. WAIT!
If they say “It’s the HOTTEST BACHELOR EVER” one more time, I’m going to KILL someone. Why, oh why, did I not send back my Netflix sooner?
Btw - Weeds? I love that show. I can’t relate as far as the whole “pot” thing is concerned, but I think it’s kind of hilarious. And Life Is Beautiful is a wonderful movie. I can’t believe it’s taken so long for me to watch it.
