SATURDAY
* Go to the house to give Charles belated birthday present? *lol*
* Try to find an outfit, or at least a new top or something that will work with my existing clothes, that falls under the “Sunday Best” category for next weekend, so I don’t look like a tool at the thing I don’t really know anything about.
* Get TC’s bday present, if I didn’t get it Friday
* Clean&Pack
* Take pics of the few things I can ebay & list?
* Get stuff together to donate to Goodwill or something
* Take books & cds to Half-Price Books

- Practice going to sleep early and waking up early so I don’t sleep through my alarm when I go pick up Joe. lol. That would suck.
My shows are all reruns tonight, so I’m not in the normal tv-night frenzy that I usually am. Tonight, I have many things that I can/should do, but only one that I really WANT to do. Here’s my “to do” list… let’s see how much of it I can get done tonight.
+ Wrap White Elephant giftie for tomorrow’s Christmas Party
+ Wrap/package Katy’s Christmas present
+ Wrap all the other Christmas presents {Joe’s, mom’s, Charles’, Megan’s}
+ Finish stamping Christmas cards
+ Address & stick postage stamps on Christmas cards

+ Get the trash ready to take out tomorrow [ie: Clean up all the boxes and bags from my Christmas shopping}
+ Watch Running Scared, Boston Legal S2D1, Boston Legal S2D2, or whatever the other 2 movies I have from my last shipment of Blockbuster online.... oh, I remember... National Treasure and Saving Grace

+ Go through my yarn and find stuff to destash.
+ Wrap & get Secret Pal presents ready to mail
+ Wrap & get Sockret Pal presents ready to mail
+ Make some stitch markers to sell [sold 2 sets last night at the coffee shop where I meet my knitterly friends!].
+ KNIIIIIIIIT!
I so need to keep track of how I’m doing on Christmas presents.
Joe: already received one present, just ordered the next, hoping to have knitted gift done, but HAHAHA yeah right. [Sorry, babe. lol]
Mom: received one present the other day, already bought other present, knitted gift: complete. DONE!
C: received one present the other day; currently working on knitted gift; have a few ideas for another gift.
Megan: received one present the other day, currently working on knitted gift; have a few ideas for another gift.
G-ma: ALMOST DONE! WHEE!
G-pa: I have ideas, but nothing in my hands yet. Need to get these two finished quickly so I can mail them out!
Friends gifts: I’ve decided, as much as it pains me, to stick to the White Elephant party present. Either that, or just give really late presents. I just don’t have the cash this year!!
I also need to get my Christmas Cards done this weekend, and hopefully out next week. I need to go get some stamps, too. Maybe I’ll order the stamps online. We’ll see.
I cannot tell you how freaking happy I am that today is Friday. It’s the weekend. It’s a Joe-less weekend (as will be all the weekends this month. *cry*), so that means I have crap to do. When I have crap to do, I post a list. Guess what this post is going to be?
- Clean kitchen
- Clean living room
- Wash dirty laundry
- Hang up clean laundry
- Clean the bathroom
- Clean the bedroom
- Break out the broom and the mop (yes, this should fall under “clean”, but I don’t like to sweep or mop, so it gets its own list entry)
- Take back the extra pillowcases I bought to go w/ the sheet set I bought a couple weeks ago
- Organize Yarn Stash; destash anything I think I can live without
- Knit on Joe’s afghan, the Everyday Tweed sweater, mom’s socks, WorkJoe’s hat, and whatever else I decide I can pick up. (Whatever Else ended up being starting a new pattern)

For those of you in the DFW area, MISER is playing on Saturday at Rockhouse Live. According to the website (will update later w/ links), they are going on at 11:30. I’m not sure if they’re playing with anyone. If you’re one of my email-list friends, check your email, because I sent out a notice for anyone who wants to go. Let me know. If you need a ride, let me know. I currently have room for 1-2 more people (1 will fit comfortably, 2 a bit more uncomfortably).
xo.
I love my blog now, so that means I’m going to post more. The quality of posts may not be that great, but I’m posting, dammit.
I notice when I’m tired of looking at my site, I don’t want to post to it… so I don’t. Then I put up a new layout or something, and I”m all over it again. I’ve been spending the day fixing up my knitting blog… I had more stuff over there to put back, and I’m really in love with it now. It’s pink and pretty.
I’m so tired.. I should go to sleep. I did a little cleaning, but nowhere near what I need to get done. My computer desk area is less cluttered, so I guess that’s pretty good.
I’m probably going to go hit the hay now… if I go to sleep now, I can wake up earlier and maybe actually do something about this apt tomorrow today. I also need to go grocery shopping, and I almost changed out of my pjs into “leave the apartment” clothes a couple of hours ago, but why ruin the streaK?
Why get out of my pjs after I’d been in ‘em all day anyway. *lol*
Hmm.. I’ll post a to-do list, so maybe I’ll actually get stuff done tomorrow.
