My weekend wouldn’t be a weekend without some sort of to-do list. Crossposted from KP.

+ Clean apartment. haha. (Seriously, I need to do this. Most of my cleaning involves getting the yarn out of the way. lol)
+ laundry.
+ Finish Design Contest entry for LSSK (doubles as a Christmas Present!!)
+ Knit up a square or two for the Diva Knitting Challenge
+ Organize & list yarn/knitting books.
+ Re-establish Christmas Knitting To-Do List.
+ Finish things that need finishing so I can cross them off the list (1 bag handle, 1 scarf)
+ Knit a bunch on Joe’s Present *in progress*

so i haven’t posted very much lately. i was out of town last weekend. here are the highlights:
+ went to California last weekend to spend a few days with my boyfriend
+ he bought me a cute ring (not an engagement ring), and i lost it at the airport, where i cried until it hurt
+ ring was found in the see’s candy box i left him because i didn’t have room for it in all my crap
+ a t-shirt that says “hairy otter”
+ dead fridge
+ fixed fridge; keyhole in door works because it was oiled.
+ Knitty’s Fall Issue!

So, yeah. I intend to do not much of anything this weekend. So here’s my to-do list.
To-Do List

+ wind all yarn
+ restock fridge
+ knit! (goal: finish gavin’s shirt, the booga bag handle, and hopefully an edgar scarf. also some cloths.)
+ watch the end of Fathers and Sons, Before Sunset, and The OC: Season 2, Disc 1
+ laundry
+ clean apt

Heh, If I don’t post this stupid list here, I’ll never remember everything I need to pack. Is that sad?? *lol*

A list of things to do. Sadly, if I don’t post it here, I lose the list or things just don’t get done. Sometimes they don’t get done anyway, but if I can at least strikethrough them on here, it makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something.

+ get photos from Jenny’s party off camera
+ take knitting progress photos
+ take yarn photos (i have a lot to show!)
+ clean apartment (good enough for the weekend - still have bedroom/closet to tackle & i really never, ever clean the closet).
+ work on some site stuff
+ work on tc’s site stuff
+ pay bills!
+ get rent/utils money order as soon as I get the util bill.
+ do some laundry
+ figure out what I can live without next week & start packing
+ figure out what knitting project(s) to take on the plane/in the car/on the plane with me.
+ charge camera batteries
+ organize project list
+ buy yarn storage boxes. heh.
+ get to work.

Considering I’m up for 24 hrs tomorrow, I should have no problem completing this list.

+ make mix cds
+ pkg stitch markers & cds & pie’s presents

A lot of this? will end up as blog fodder. Good thing I have an excuse to stay in. Apparently they’re spraying for mosquitos right around here tomorrow. Yayness… or something.

So. It’s the weekend… which means I don’t get much of a break. There are some things that I planned on doing today that I don’t think are going to happen because I can already tell that it’s hot outside, and I don’t feel like being out much.

+ Run to apt office to FINE. A. LEE (erm, finally) pick up the pkg that’s been sitting there for a week and a half because they SUCK! If I don’t have to sign anything when I get there …. *grrr*
+ get my DSL stuff installed, because that’s what the pkg is. Unless I’ve gotten something else too, but I think I have all my pkgs going to work. *lol*
+ go grocery shopping
+ Father’s Day Present Shopping. *grr* I’m on the hunt for one specific thing, and I canNOT find it. *grr*
+ possibly get quarters for laundry. I don’t want to do laundry all day, so I might just work with what I already have. I should have enough for a load or two.
+ watch Hitch and Rory O’Shea was Here
+ (possibly) go to the library
+ (possibly) go to the post office. I need to go mail some stuf f- reallyreally really need to go mail some stuff, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen because I don’t have anything ready yet, because I haven’t had time!
+ do the meme thing for Stacy & my aunt
+ knit on Soleil and whatever else I find.
