I hate MySpace.
I have a couple friends on there who have blogs there, and I subscribed so I get the updates when they update.. like the 2-3 people I know who use xanga journals.. and one, I can’t even READ the entries because they don’t show up, and on the other person, I can’t COMMENT because it never works. and half the time i attempt to log in, I get 404 errors.

MySpace sucks.

Now I’m off to figure out how to season hamburger to taste like it’s been taco-seasoned because I keep forgetting to buy some, and I really want tacos. Now.

Friday
Day from HELL, as are most Fridays for me. I need the weekend after Fridays. *lol* I was pretty much work-raped all day Friday. I get so abused on Fridays, and Fridays are the one day I need to have time to do stuff. It’s really frustrating, but the people who abuse me the most are getting their very own assistants very soon, so pretty soon I’ll be whining about how bored I am at work. I hope so, anyway.

Saturday
Alex’s birthday party. We took over TC & Alex’s apt complex pool. It was pretty fun. I went with Jenny & we didn’t plan on staying for the whole thing, but ended up staying the whole time. She had to pack for her trip tomorrow, and my plan was to clean the apartment for next weekend. I know I won’t get anything done during the week. So far I’ve only managed in handwashing dishes.. because my dishwasher’s being a freak. I’m either overloading it or putting too dirty dishes in it, because all the stuff on the top never gets cleaned. So I’m handwashing everything that needs to be washed & letting the dishwasher run empty a couple times. Hopefully that’ll clean it out a little. Anyway.. off on a tangent. Alex’s birthday party = Fun! I got the FUNNIEST card, which I’ll post a picture of after I upload pics the next time. *lol* Seriously.. it’s so gross.. hehehehe

Today
Cleaning & going over to mom’s for belated father’s day.

I’ve also been doing a LOT of knitting, which you can read about over at my knitting blog. I’ve been doing more knitting than anything exciting, so I’ve been posting over there more than here. Highlights? I’m almost finished with the shirt I’m knitting.. I’ve joined a lace knit-along and a baby-stuff knit-along, plus a charity project, and I have more things that I want to accomplish than.. than I don’t know what. So, go read all about it.

Well, I got my DSL installed on Saturday.
Happy belated Father’s Day to all the daddies out there. I know a lot of them. *g*
I intended to go to my mom’s for Father’s Day, but I was really sick on Sunday. If I wasn’t sleeping, I was in the bathroom, it seemed.
Monday, I woke up 2minutes before I needed to leave to catch the bus. I was dressed + out the door in 5 minutes. It then proceeded to be a Monday.
Today wasn’t so bad, but.. yeah. I dunno. I’m tired.

I asked my boss for Tuesday 7/5 off because Joe’s not leaving until like, 4pm that day, and I got it!! So I get a 4 day weekend for 4th of July. :)

Back to untangling yarn… *grumbles @ the yarn for my shirt*

So. It’s the weekend… which means I don’t get much of a break. There are some things that I planned on doing today that I don’t think are going to happen because I can already tell that it’s hot outside, and I don’t feel like being out much.

+ Run to apt office to FINE. A. LEE (erm, finally) pick up the pkg that’s been sitting there for a week and a half because they SUCK! If I don’t have to sign anything when I get there …. *grrr*
+ get my DSL stuff installed, because that’s what the pkg is. Unless I’ve gotten something else too, but I think I have all my pkgs going to work. *lol*
+ go grocery shopping
+ Father’s Day Present Shopping. *grr* I’m on the hunt for one specific thing, and I canNOT find it. *grr*
+ possibly get quarters for laundry. I don’t want to do laundry all day, so I might just work with what I already have. I should have enough for a load or two.
+ watch Hitch and Rory O’Shea was Here
+ (possibly) go to the library
+ (possibly) go to the post office. I need to go mail some stuf f- reallyreally really need to go mail some stuff, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen because I don’t have anything ready yet, because I haven’t had time!

Well, I decided to try my internet, and it still works.

I got another notice on my door about a package though, so either they’re being jackasses adn “reminding me” about the package I already have or I received another one.

I might be MIA for the rest of the week. I’m getting DSL, but my apartment complex sucks, and they won’t leave my package inside my apartment, DESPITE the fact that I called them last THURSDAY and spoke to the co-manager in the morning, and she said they’d have someone put it up there. I came home that night to a note on the door (they could have someone put a note on my door, but not open it and put a box inside) saying I have to actually go up there and sign something before they will give me my package. Apparently it’s a new company policy that must have just started. After I called. Because the co-manager would know. Especially since the manager is HER HUSBAND! GRR! lol.

I know nothing about installing DSL, but Joe says there’s supposed to be some sort of filter to put on the phone line so I can use it when I have the DSL, but I don’t know. I won’t have it though, because it’s in the BOX that’s in the OFFICE! (This is why all my pkgs come to the work office now. LOL) He usually knows what he’s talking about, and he said I might not be able to use the phone/dial up because of that, or something. SOoo, if that’s true, I won’t be around.

I’ll probably think up 82374 things to blog about in that time, but I can’t get it until Saturday because of work. I work the same hours as the complex office does, so that makes things difficult. Or I could come in late one day, but I don’t like doing that. I hate being late.

So anyway, I just wanted to let you know. I can check email from work and stuff, but that’s about it.
