I’m sitting on my mom’s couch on my laptop, swiping their high-speed internet, watching their cable (currently on: vh1’s top 20: rob thomas: lonely no more), with a kitty curled up next to me, giving herself a bath, and my knitting.

the only thing that’s missing is my joe. :) and the fact that i’d like to get this at home instead of at my mom’s home. ;)

Should I be worried that my top search referral last month was for “lovely sex”?

I don’t know if sex is lovely or not, so why are people trying to find it HERE? *lol*

My second favorite search referral is “photoblog naked lesbian” .. mmmkay. I don’t have a photoblog anymore, but even when I did, there were no lesbians in it, naked or otherwise. *lol*

More scary search referrals (and here I was, certain I never got anything cool/weird):
- anime breast milk (yeah. I don’t even know. I don’t watch anime, and well.. no breast milk here.)
- hello you have a nice name (why, thank you!)
- pat obrian phone calls (did i even post about these??)
- www .hello kitty cheese (wtf?)
- kodak credit union (i wish this was the credit union. i’d have money that way.)
- how to become a discount mary kay consultant (i don’t know, but i can get you in touch with someone if you want. lol)
- i miss joe (aww, i do, too!)
- greenday for hire (hey, when you find out that info, pass it along! :D)
- is kelly clarkson a natural blond (i have no idea.)
- i slept with zach braff (no need to brag. :P)
- i hate everything except billie joe (so do i, honey. so do i.)
- i work at wal-mart because i m stupid (well… stop that.)
- happy birthday fabric (aww that’s sweeet!)
- an explanation of american idiot (YOU!!)
- jenny and john s wedding (JENNY MARRIED JOHN!?!? What happened to April!?!?! LOL)
- puncutation (erm, that’s punctuation.)

last, but not least, cuz i’m bored with this..
www.hello.my.lovely (aww. I think Joe’d have a problem with this. :P)

I am so exhausted.
I got about 5 hours of sleep last night, and we spent all day shopping. We went to one Walmart where I bought a copy of In Good Company that I owed to my sister plus a radio clock for at work.

Then we went to JoAnn’s where I bought a zillion dollars worth of LB Cotton-Ease yarn. For any DFW-area knitters, I bought it at the Preston/Forest location, and yes, I did leave some. :)

We went to lunch then to the ‘regular’ walmart for grocery shopping and stuff. I bought Coldplay’s newest cd and Oasis’ newest cd, plus some blanks so I can burn my Jason Mraz show for myself + Jenny + Megan. :) And some groceries so I can eat next week. Eating is cool.

I’m gonna get going. :) Byebye!

My stepdad told me about a really cool website last night. It’s called Trek Earth, and it’s a photography site of pictures from all over the world. You can rate them and comment on them and stuff, or just look at them like I’ve been doing.

I’m a freak about wanting to go to Ireland, so I went to look at their pictures, and I’m only a couple pages in, but so far Thelma & Louise is my favorite. hehe :) It’s cute. :)

Sorry that I haven’t been posting much. If I have been posting, it’s been small little things from work because I happen to be thinking about it rightthatsecond.

I get in this no-online mode when Joe’s visiting, and it takes a while for me to get out of it. :) That and I just haven’t had anything to say.

Nothing fun has been really going on. I’ve been working and stuff. I get up really early, and I get home kinda late now, so when I do get home, I’m tired. :)

That’s okay though. I don’t mind. :)

I’ve been knitting and reading like crazy thanks to all of my extra bus/train/waiting time. :) I’ll have to start posting reveiws. :)

Anyway, I’m downloading the Jason Mraz show that I went to back in 2003. It’s pretty cool :) yay high speed internet !:)

Clean up your damn apartment so the carpet cleaners can make your carpet sparkly and new.
Or at least clean.

I wonder if they can clean up the year and a half old rubber cement stain. That would *ROCK!*
And the toner-looking stains that are spread out on my carpet.
My carpet was spotless the first 6 months or so that I lived there. Ya couldn’t tell anyone lived there.

Then Joe visits and we spill sodas and stuff all over it. And my bottle of rubber cement tips over but the lid wasn’t on tight, and I didn’t notice until too late. And then I track toner all over the place thanks to a toner spill at work and the stuff got on my shoes and stayed there! Stupid toner! *rawr*

The women on my floor, as far as bathroom etiquette, leave much to be desired.

I just went to the bathroom a few minutes ago, and there was water/paper towels all over the sink, and the toilet in the second stall had not been flushed. How gross is that? The sad part is, as far as the toilet thing goes, someone always uses the 2nd stall and never flushes. Gross.

I know I’m pretty messy as far as keeping the apartment clean, but I at least flush the toilet when I’m finished. :P Methinks someone needs to go back to potty training..

I promised details!! So here you go.

Friday:
I was talking to Joe on the phone all the way home from work. It was kinda shocking that I actually got to talk to him. He’s either at work or studying or on his way to work or I get his voicemail or something. It’s really rare that I get to talk to him during the daylight when he’s on a school schedule. He was at home watching Jag. Or so I thought. I rode the train home, I took the bus home. I talked about how I might go to Wendy’s for dinner, or maybe not because I just wanted to go home, or maybe I’d go to Lone Star Wings, or maybe not, because I was really kinda hungry for Wendy’s.. or really anything that didn’t involve me cooking, but I guess I can go home and make pasta. Ask Joe. I literally went on and on about that.

I finally decided that who the bus driver was would determine whether or not I got off at my normal stop or kept going to Wendy’s. It was the normal bus driver, who I rarely ever have to push the “Stop Requested” button for because I get off the bus at the same place all the time.

He took me to my stop.. I got off the bus, and Joe said he had to pee but he’d call me right back. Literally two seconds later, the phone rang again, and I’m like, “Man, that was fast.“. LOL :) Turns out it was a number I didn’t know, but I walked through the back of my complex and checked my mail. I wasn’t far from the mailbox, and I don’t walk that slow, but I’ve been on the phone when he’s had to go to the bathroom, so he puts the phone down or calls me back, and I know it doesn’t take as long as it did.

I walked up the stairs to my apartment and thought something was kinda funny. As a cutesy thing, for one of his visits, I gave him a key to my place knowing he’d rarely (or more like never) get the chance to use it. It was more of a symbolic gesture, I guess. Well, I walked up the stairs and was like…. hmm.. he has a key. he COULD be here. but i don’t have a channel that shows jag. nah, he’s not here. but… i can check the apt out anyway, and if he’s not here, no one has to know. lol.. that was pretty much the thought process that went through my head.

I walked in the door. Nothing strange in the livingroom. Just the normal semi-mess around the computer, cuz I sit around my computer. Nobody was in the kitchen or the bathroom. I walk in the bedroom, and there’s a bouquet of flowers on my pillow. Me: Aww.. hey. My closet door is … ajar. So I whip the door open expecting him to jump out. Nothing. I peer around the door jamb… NOTHING!

Me: *hands on hips* Where the hell is he??

So I walk to the door and decide to look out the peephole. Maybe he’s out there somewhere. The phone rings as soon as I get to my door. It’s him.

Joe: Teresa thinks you should come give me a hug since I had to come give you a hug last time.
Me: NO!
Joe: Why not???
Me: NO!
*insert more come give me a hug/no’s*

I finally open the door and look out (as he’s walking up my stairs. heee), and I meet him on the balcony, and we hug and yay yay yay.

He’d gotten a hotel room (there’s one literally a block away. Not even a block) and was camped out there. SNeaky little thing.

I was still starving so we went to Whataburger, because I never go there, and they don’t have ‘em in Cali. Then we came back and cuddled and tada, the end. Saturday, we intended to go to the Dallas Arboretum, but as soon as we walked out the door, we were downpoured on, and everytime we tried to leave the apartment after that, it started raining, so we watched some movies and just hung out together, taking stupid pictures and I kept trying to knit but he wouldn’t let me. No matter what he says, he wouldn’t let me. :P

We went to my mom’s on Sunday, but the weather still sucked. It didn’t rain much, but it was gross, anyway. My sister and I tried to beat his ass at Sorry, and with our double-teaming him, she won, and he got second place. Jerk. ;)

We managed to step out of the apartment on Monday, but it still looked crappy, so we went to see Episode 3. It was alright. I’m not a huge “OH MY GOD IT”S STAR WARS U$IY@(*$&@#*&@^$*(&^@#*&!^!!!!!” kinda person, and he’d already seen it (I really wanted to see Monster-In-Law, but he wouldn’t budge. Jerk. ;), but we went anyway. At 7pm (give or take), when we finally leftthe movie, guess what? IT WAS SUNNY OUTSIDE! *GRR!* WHERE WAS ALL THE SUN THE REST OF THE WEEKEND?!

So we enjoyed our walk back to my place, and we ordered pizza and watched movies, and I ruined my sister’s dvd that she let us borrow, so I owe her a copy. :/stupid me for not checking the dvd player. i thought I took the dvd that was in it out of it, but nope. :/

Then he came up to work with me, and Alex took him to the airport, where he got stuck for most of the day thanks to the airline overbooking his seat. The good news is he got a voucher towards a ticket, and he’s coming to see me 4th of July weekend!! :) *dances*

We’ve already made plans. If the weather holds up (ie. doesn’t rain (hahaha in july??) or isn’t too hot (hahaha.. in july?!), we’ll try the Arboretum again. I also have a gift card to Maggiano’s to use up, so we’re going to have a date, too. :D And we’re going to see Mr & Mrs Smith and Bewitched.. so he’s going to make sure he doesn’t see those until he comes to see me. Everytime he comes to see me, at least the last two times, we watch movies he’s already seen (Meet the Fockers, Star Wars.. there might’ve been another one, too).

So.. that was my weekend last weekend. Pretty cool, huh ? :)
( I LOVE YOU, JOE!! )

I went to Albertsons today to pick up a few things (which ended up all being junk-food… cookies, ice cream, frosting, Rolos, soda. lol I only went in for ice cream & dinner, but I ate dinner at this wing place right next door.), and I ran into one of my old customers.

I liked shopping at Albertsons, because I had a card that still gave me 5% off. Now it doesn’t do that. :( Suck. And because I got to see some of my spiffy old co-workers and spiffy ex-customers.

Today I ran into a nice lady. I really can’t remember her name, but she and her husband used to rent movies from us all the time. She saw me and was like “OH!!! WE MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!” lol. She was telling me how her husband is a pretty quiet guy and isn’t very talkative, but if he could hire me himself, he would. I try treating my customers the way they treat me or the way I’d like to be treated if I were renting a movie or needing customer service, because who wants to deal with crappy people? She told me they can never rent anythign anymore because everytime they ask for something they just say if it’s not on the shelf, it’s not in. They don’t check the night drop or in the back to make sure. Honestly - we generally knew what was in the back and if movies had been dropped off. I always double checked, or remembered what was in the back anyway. I’d check if I didn’t know. Nobody else up there does that. They just don’t care.

She told me that they miss me to death, and she’s even heard people asking for me, but I’m not there. That makes me kind of sad - sure the company, and even management at the time, didn’t give a rat’s ass about me, but my customers (the nice ones) sure did. I’m sad that I’m not there for them, and that nobody wants to help “make their lives easier,” but I’m so happy I’m not behind that freaking counter anymore. I’m glad I can walk into that place and not have such a feeling of dread that I actually feel sick to my stomach.

I like where I am now. I love where I am now, but it just kind of sucks that nobody else cares about helping people. If you don’t want to do that job, then get out of it. Look somewhere else. Hope one of your friends says “hey, I”m getting a promotion and they need someone. Come in for an interview.” lol

Retail is a crappy business to work in, but it’s nice to know that I’m missed and appreciated for being the person and employee that I was (am, just not there).

I’m a little busy now, but I wanted to post photos while I was thinking about it. :)

Joe came to visit me this weekend. He surprised me, but I’ll post details later. It’s a really cute story. :) AND! Because his flight got screwed up (again, details later), he’s coming to see me AGAIN for July 4th weekend. How frickin cool is that?! :) Yay! :) *dances*

Joe had to take this picture because I always order food (ie. pizza) online, but we ordered from a place that didn’t DO online, so I had to call. This is a reminder for him. *grin*

This is a picture of us. :) It’s a crappy picture of me but a really good picture of him. So I’ll keep it. ;)

Another cute picture of us! I’m not looking at it right now, but I think it’s the good one of us standing at the bus stop Tuesday morning. :) Aww. look at me in work clothes.

Again, not looking at the picture, but if I remember correctly, it’s us at the bus stop again, and he’s trying to look all cool w/ the sunglasses. I love his sunglasses. :) hehe

So there’s my weekend in just a few pictures. We intended to go to the Arboretum, but we were rained out so we stayed home and watched movies. Monday wasn’t that bad, but there were clouds, and rain was in the forecast, so we prepared to get drenched and went to see Star Wars. We walked out of the movie to bright sunny skies, but it was already 7pm. lol. :) OH well. Next time.. next time. :)
