sooo. yeah. hi. :)
i spent yesterday at my mom’s house & i came home with 95% of the yarn she had. i’ll be going through & doing inventory on it & then figuring out what to donate to whom & what to keep for myself. fun stuff. i just got back from the store (was getting my rent + bus pass (hehe i almost typed pus bass. ew)), and it’s hot. why can’t it be those couple of days last week when it was almost cold compared to now? at least it’s not in the 100s and stuff.

time to go knit or something, i have a bunch of things to get started on.

So I did a little bit of online shopping recently. I’m waiting to receive my order, but I just could not pass it up! I’ve been eyeing this skirt for a while, and it’s on sale, and well, I finally said “I AM DOING IT!” I don’t have a simple black skirt to wear with any and everything, so I’m hoping this one fits the bill. I also bought a shirt (not going to link it cuz it’s a surprise cuz I’m wearing it on my trip to see Joe when we go to dinner! ha!) that’s pretty cute to wear with it. :D

It’s my first time buying clothes online, so hopefully it won’t be too painful. ;)

My tummy hurts.
Also, my head.

Yes, you needed to know this.

I think Windows Media Player hates my Jason Mraz cd. I can only get it to recognize it once or twice a day, and then it won’t play it anymore. I hope it’s not indicative of how it will play in my regular cd player or on my laptop. I’ll have to try it out. :(

Good cd though.

I’ve started cleaning my apartment. FOR NO REASON!! (ie. I’m not planning on having any visitors anytime soon.)
I even cleaned off my dining table that I’ve only dined on like 3 times. lol So far that’s the only noticeable difference. I’m actually going through all the papers and trashing them if they need to be trashed instead of just keeping them to keep them. Yay cleaning! Or something.

(This is what happens to me when I don’t have Joe to talk to all day. I miss my Joe. :( He’s out surfing. I think I’m going to go read for a little bit. I’m almost done with Incubus Dreams, and my goal is to finish that this weekend, if I do nothing else.)

Congrats to the Cactus-Fishes on their little girl!! :D

Finally some good news. :D

According to Dina, Katy is doing awesome & stuff… so that’s awesome.

I haven’t heard from Teresa yet, but maybe we’ll have good news there, too. :)

Looks like I’m officially a participant for the 2005 Blogathon! :)

My charity is the American Cancer Society, in honor of Debbie & her struggles, plus the struggles of those fighting the disease & the ones who have survived it. Feel free to pledge by going here: here. Official donations are made at the end of the blogathon.

Blogathon will be done August 6th-7th from 9am - 9am.
I have to post at least once every half an hour.
I think I’m going to knit the whole time.
And rent movies.
And who knows what else. :) Anything that’ll keep me up for a whole day. ;)

Well, here’s a Katy update - apparently she’s doing very well & they will be sending her home very soon (I think it’s today or sometime this weekend, but I’m not certain.)

On another note, though, please send prayers and hugs and good vibes in the direction of Teresa and her family. Teresa’s aunt was diagnosed with cancer (I forget which kind) right before her wedding last December (or maybe it was just after.. either way, it was right around there), and she’s been fighting the fight. SHe’s had a few setbacks, and was getting better, but now she’s back in the hospital as of Wednesday. She was supposed to be going home today, but it’s getting worse. They have to do a spinal tap to check, but they think the cancer might have spread to her spine. :(

Any well-wishes you can give them would be greatly appreciated. I walked the Relay for Life in Carrollton a few months ago in support of her and her family, and she made it there despite spending the week in a hospital in Iowa.

*hugs* Debbie!
