So I just downloaded & installed Firefox. All my Wordpress stuff looks so much nicer now. *lol* Anyway, on to more important things…

Like Jenny’s belated birthday slumber party. Man, we need to do those more often. LOL. I’d say it was a bunch of drunken debauchery just to keep your attention, but it wasn’t really. Really. I mean it..

Anyway, we stayed up all night talking, learning a lot of things about each other, and flipping through old yearbooks and all kinds of stuff.

By the way - Joe bet me that I’d get drunk last night. I don’t know why - I’ve gone to several of my friends’ parties (ok, not the superduper big pre-kids parties. those were before my time), and I’ve never ever ever ever gotten drunk. Well, I bet that I didn’t. AND I DIDN’T! So pay up, sucker. hheheeh just kidding. sorta.

uhhhhm. yeah. it was fun. we should do it again sometime, ladies.

So I’ve been printing everything in sight today.
Okay, not really. I printed up a couple patterns for some more Christmas Knitting projects, a sample stamp, a real stamp, a couple alignment things, an envelope to configure my printer in my stamps.com stuff, and uhh.. I think that’s it. I received a sample pack of 4×6 photo paper with my printer, but it only has 5 sheets. I’m not sure I have any pictures that are in desperate need of printing right now, so I’ll see what I manage to take tonight at the party.

I should probably get my stuff ready for tonight - make sure I have anything before I go back to knitting and/or watching a movie.

I just checked the tracking information on the printer I had to buy last week. It wasn’t scheduled to be here according to Amazon until Monday, but! BUT! when I tracked it just now? It says it’s been delivered!! *squee!*

So that will save me a trip to the post office, because I can just go to the office to get my stuff & hook up the new printer & print my stamps.com stuff. very exciting.

Now all I have to do is make sure I’m on the other side of town by 7-7:30ish so Jenny can pick me up for the par-tay tonight for her birthday. We’re going to be fashionably late. lol.

and knit! i get to knit a bunch today! and take pictures! and shop! and…and.. yeah

so i was waiting for the bus this morning & there’s a lady who’s there everyday just like me.
she came up to me and goes “did you lose a book the other day?” and i’m like “yes!”
and she’s like “i have it for you.”
and i was like “really!?!? thank you so much!!!!”

so i got to finish my book today, and now i can start another one.
I also finished a washcloth, cuz, well, i can. i need to weave in the ends because i came to work without any tools.. just 3-4 of my projects + Scarf Style, because two of the projects I brought with me were from tha tbook. yay!

I apologize to all my friends who read the last post and thought I meant that Joe & I broke up. No such luck, erm, i mean.. that didn’t happen. I didn’t even think about the reaction I might get from the title. *grin*

in other news, well, there really is no other news.

so i’m boyfriendless tonight.
normally we talk from the time he gets out of work-ish to the time when i pass out and go to sleep, but not tonight! the boy has plans. loser. lol j/k

so i’m trying to figure out what i can do.
so far, i’ve watched 2 episodes of gilmore girls uninterrupted.
i’ve done no knitting since walking in the apartment, but i think i might take some pics of yarn. because i’m that huge of a nerd.

MY BOOK IS *GONE*.

GONE, people. as in, I LEFT IT ON THE BUS BECAUSE I HAD TO PLAY ALARM CLOCK TO MY BOYFRIEND AND THEN HE FELL BACK TO SLEEP EVEN THOUGH HE TOLD ME TO CALL HIM GONE.

The one time I don’t look back before I get off the bus to make sure I have everything. THE ONE DAMN TIME.

and okay, I’m not really mad at Joe. But I wouldn’t have put it down if I didn’t call him like he asked me to last night. ;) I’m just wondering WHERE THE HELL IT IS?! because we weren’t on the phone that long, and I could’ve SWORN i’d at least put it in my backpack - or that I was READING it. and it’s not HERE. it’s not in my BAG. it’s not in one of my DRAWERS. it’s GONE. GONEGONEGONE!

And the worst part about it?
I AM ALMOST FINISHED!!!!

I’m watching the Sunday edition of “TODAY”, which I didn’t even know existed, and they were talking about the Meals on Wheels program. Well, since elderly people have pets a lot of times to keep them company, they’ve started taking pet food to the people to whom they also take the meals. How cool is that? Apparently they started noticing the meal trays down by the pet food bowls.

That’s so awesome.
