Joe and I went to see The Simpsons this afternoon, and it was HILARIOUS. I was kind of worried, because we watched a Simpsons “marathon” the other day that was 2 hrs of shows, and I was about to die after the 2nd or 3rd one. The movie was okay, though. Definitely a little PG-13 or so… they get away with a bit more than they can on TV, but it was still highly entertaining. I think we laughed the whole movie.

The worst part about the movie is that Joe now calls me Boob Lady. :/ rofl. And Stacy will LOVE the beginning part. LOL

So, I’ve been seriously neglecting the ol’ blog here. I finished Harry Potter on Monday while at work (seriously.. I’m so slow, that’s what I did for most of the day, until I finished it).

So, I like my job, and I feel bad about whining about having nothing to do… but I wish I had work-related things to do. The good news is, I’m getting a lot of reading and knitting done, and I’m going to be making a dent in my bookshelf. I’ve found that if I have a book that will stay open on its own and a fairly easy pattern, I can knit while I read - something I’ve been wanting to master for a long time. heeh

I’ll try to post more. Really. LOL

Also, please wish congratulations and best wishes and happy thoughts to my pal, MellyPie and her brand-new husband! They got married this past Monday.

Also, Happy (belated) birthday to my friend Jerry!! His bday was yesterday.

I just opened it and read the book flap: “We now present the seventh and final installment in the epic tale of Harry Potter.”

Reading that makes me sad and ALMOST makes me not want to read the book. Almost.
