I love it when my iPod knows exactly what I want to listen to. I’ve neglected the many gigs of music that are on my iPod lately in favor of catching up on all of the podcasts I have let lapse (yes, most of them are about knitting. yes, I’m a dork… but you knew that already!) since I moved to California. I think the most I had to listen to was almost 200. The smaller 5-10 minute ‘casts were great for timing my breaks; the longer 30-45+ minute podcasts were good for lunch breaks or on the weekends when there’s nothing on TV.
Well, I’m caught up now. I listened to the last one this evening, which I actually downloaded today, and now there’s nothing on tv. So… I’m listening to music. I decided to shuffle songs
I haven’t kept a running tab of songs played, but my iPod is giving me lots of Green Day, Matchbox 20, Bowling For Soup and other stuff to listen to. I have a lot of music that is on there that I’ve never listened to, and I’m getting a fair amount of that as well. Edgewater just played.. Oh, in 11 secs I can tell you what’s next… “Hold it Up” by The Rocket Summer. My iPod loves Dallas musicians today. *g* I love it when my iPod and I are on the same wavelength.
Joe’s had a super crappy week at work this week (including the entire weekend last weekend), so send him some no-stress vibes… poor thing.
I’m also going to have a new toy to show you sometime by the weekend. I love new toys.
Next song? “Paper Lights” by Ehren Starks.
What’s your iPod (or computer, or other mp3 player, or cd player, or your Pandora or… whatever you listen to music on) playing?
