Okay, so I don’t usually watch the Jimmy Kimmel show because the late night shows actually come on late at night here, and I’m sleeping by then, but a month or so ago, I saw the following video on Perez Hilton (which I now read religiously thanks to Teresa! lol):

Well, apparently, Jimmy had a rebuttal last night on his Oscar after-show. It’s pretty f*cking funny. ;) And Dina, you totally have to watch the whole thing the whole way through. One of your Celebrity Boyfriends is in it. hee hee.

Crack. Me. Up!!

I’ve had a request to update, but honestly, there isn’t much to report. Joe left for Houston for work for a couple weeks yesterday, and I’m stuck here all by myself. I’ve spent my entire morning knitting & now I don’t want to go to work. I know I’ll get knitting time around 5:30-8pm today, but I don’t want to wait that long.

Whine, whine, whine.

I really feel the need to clean the apartment. Work gets in the way of that, and I know when I get home, I won’t want to.

I went to hang out at the yarn store yesterday. They’re only open about 4 hrs on Sunday, and I was there for about 3 of them. lol. While I was there, the topic of the Breast Cancer 3-Day walk came up… you know, the 60 mile walk?? It sounds like the knitting group might start a team and walk it. They’re waiting for more info, but I think it would be a cool thing. One of the women lost her mom to the terrible disease a couple months ago, and I think it would be fun to support her and a great change to get to know the only people I know here outside of Joe/his family & the people I work with.

Umm.. that’s it. I’m also stalling because I don’t want to get ready for work. And I’m hungry, so I need to get ready to leave “on time” so I actually get there EARLY, so I can stop and grab something to eat. Bleh.

Anyway… enough whining and complaining. Time to get ready.

Now… House please?

I finished reading my first book of 2008… Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts, which is the first installment of the Sign of Seven trilogy. Leave it to Nora to get me in a book-reading mood again. I still need to finish Creation In Death by JD Robb/Nora Roberts because the next one comes out in a couple of weeks. James Patterson’s newest book in the Women’s Murder Club series comes out on Monday or Tuesday as well. Can’t. Wait.

Anyway, the book was a pretty good book. I’m a fan of her trilogies, even if they are completely predictable in a sense. It was scary and romantic and full of fantasy, and I wish I didn’t have to wait until MAY for the next one.

Also, I love that living on the West Coast means that the Super Bowl starts at a decent time, so even if it takes forever, we won’t be up all night watching football. And the House episode that’s on after the game should be on at a reasonable time, even if the game does take forever. I don’t care who wins, though. Both scenarios kind of give me warm fuzzies…. Undefeated team of the year kicks ass and remains undefeated or the Underdog kicks the Undefeated team’s ass and looks like heros. I have to say, the Patriots looked a little bit like bullies when they came out onto the field. lol.

Oh well, I’m going to knit and wait for the commercials to come on. :)
